Noa
A downloadable game for Windows
🎮 About the Game
Noa is a short first-person horror game set entirely inside a 1970s apartment.
You play as Noa, a deaf woman who receives a letter — fifteen years after the death of her aunt Elise.
But something is wrong. The house feels different. The walls breathe. And Elise... is not at rest.
- Explore the apartment.
- Follow the signs.
- Face the silence.
- Duration: ±5 minutes
- Genre: Atmospheric horror / Visual storytelling
- Audio: No sound — designed to evoke fear purely through visuals.
🧪 Purpose
This game was created as part of a design experiment to test visual horror systems for deaf players.
Noa is a prototype focused on silence, suggestion, and visual atmosphere — without relying on sound.
It was presented during the open campus day of LUCA School of Arts for a wide audience, and was found semi-successful by most people.
